Merry Christmas

Alright, so many complaints throughout the year. My son, as I said long ago, gave me this blog site as a gift. It started out to be a place to vent. And I did.

Now, it’s Christmas time. There are plenty of things to complain about at Christmas time too, but, this time, I need to let it go. I need to express to all how lucky I feel. I have health, well, most of the time. I have three great kids. They are smart and responsible, working for a better life for themselves than I could give.

There is a woman in my life. I love her dearly. I haven’t been the best person to her over the years. She is still in my life. How can that be? I am lucky…and blessed.

I am not a religious person. I don’t know what lies beyond. I barely know what lies in the days ahead. But I feel blessed for what I have.

Merry Christmas.
